Cathy has 25 years of experience in the nonprofit and public sectors managing large-scale initiatives and cross-functional teams. She started her career in salmon recovery at Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board and the nonprofit, Ecotrust. From there she built a diverse portfolio of environmental conservation work, from launching a grantmaking initiative that helps rural towns protect their drinking water to serving as Executive Director of the urban Columbia Slough Watershed Council. All the while, she has been learning about how people organize themselves to pursue ambitious goals and discovered that she loves helping mission-driven organizations be the best that they can be. Cathy’s approach is to meet your organization where it’s at, and help you prepare for your nonprofit’s long-term health. When not thinking about systems, teams, and budgets, she loves spending time with her family and friends, hiking, biking, gardening, cooking, and dreaming of more travel.
